Darren Christiansen Art

Darren grew up in Lyons, Colorado where he was inspired by the outdoors. He has been painting since he was young. When not in the studio painting in watercolor and oil, he can be found guiding clients on fly fishing trips for Kirks Fly Shop into Rocky Mountain National Park. The challenge of taking watercolor and doing detailed work has been the focus of his painting the last few years. He travels as much as he can to catch wild trout in their native waters and then create unique paintings of them. Original watercolors and prints of these works are available here on the site.
